Gardens Luxury Cottages
Granite Gardens & Luxury Cottages is located a short 12minutes, southwest from the center of Stanthorpe. Situated around Stanthorpe are numerous Shops, an Art Gallery, Museum, Art & Craft Shops, Antique shop, and a Convenience store.
Popular pastimes in the Granite Belt area are visiting the numerous wineries in the region. With wineries 10-15minutes either side of Granite Gardens establishment, its easy to self drive for a tasting, or a half or full day wine tour can be arranged. Guests will be picked up by the Tour Operator and returned back to Granite Gardens.
Restaurants in the town of Stanthorpe and outskirts are of a high standard, drive time to any of them is 5-12minutes. Menus from these are in the cottages so you can make an educated choice of just where you would like to indulge yourself.
Hiking up Bald Rock or around Girraween National Parks is only 30 minutes
drive away. Every weekend there are Craft and Fruit Markets at a variety of
locations from the Civic centre in Stanthorpe to Wallangarra Railway Station.
If coming from Warwick direction, on the New England Highway, turn right at Reid Road then left at Stabiles Road. Follow Stabiles Road until Thorndale Road, then turn right into Thorndale Road and 3 km on left is Nicholson Road. Turn left into Nicholson Road, Granite Gardens is 1km on the right. a large sign is located at the entrance gate.
From Tenterfield, Ballandean area along the New England highway, turn left into Mount Sterling Road (just past the BP Service station), then left over the railway crossing, drive over the bridge and take the first right which is Thorndale Road. Drive 6km along Thorndale Road until Nicholson Road. Turn left into Nicholson Road, Granite Gardens is 1km on the right.a large sign is
located at the entrance gate.
