The Lake Retreat enjoys a peaceful south-west outlook across the lake, rose gardens, and a lush green lawn — the perfect spot for an afternoon unwind.

  • Every stay includes a generous complimentary breakfast hamper filled with locally sourced goodies for you to prepare and enjoy at your leisure each morning. It’s our way of sharing a taste of the Granite Belt with you.

  • Absolutely! Just let us know at the time of booking. We can happily make swaps such as soy or almond milk instead of cow’s milk, or gluten-free bread in place of regular. Vegetarian hampers are also available — simply mention it when booking.

  • Our guest houses are fully self-contained, so they’re not serviced daily — giving you extra privacy and freedom during your stay. For longer stays (4 nights +) we replace bathroom towels and check supplies of other items. During the cooler months we also ensure that our guests have an adequate supply of fire wood for their entire stay.

  • Check-in is from 2 pm, with check-out at 10 am. On arrival, please head to the main house at the front of the property. Your hosts, Chris or Lynne, will warmly welcome you, walk you to your cottage, and answer any questions.

  • If you’d like an early check-in, please call or text ahead — we’ll do our best to help if cleaning schedules allow.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a secure storage area for luggage, so please keep your bags with you until check-in.
